Valentinian I, 364-375. 1 1/2 Scripula - 9 Siliquae (Gold, 15 mm, 1.64 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 364-368. VALENTINI-ANVS AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valentinian I to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM / ANT Victory, draped from her waist, seated right on cuirass, holding shield with left hand, inscribing VOT / V in two lines with stylis held in her right; to right, winged Genius standing left, supporting shield with both hands. Depeyrot 33/1 corr. (obverse legend). RIC 3a. Extremely rare. A perfectly centered, sharply struck and lustrous piece. Tiny marks, otherwise, virtually as struck.
